Matt truly made my stay feel special with his welcoming attitude! The comfy bed was great, but the stained carpet and cramped space were a bummer. 😕

You can't miss checking out Underdog BBQ just around the corner for some delicious bites, and the homemade Belgian waffles at breakfast are a must-try! Plus, the location is perfect for exploring the nearby restaurants like Breakwater Restaurant & Pub and Syd's Place.
Arriving at 9:40 PM in the dark, I had a hard time finding the office. The smallest room I've ever seen made me glad I'm not overweight! I had to fish a power strip out from behind the microwave and tie it to the lamp to avoid a cord tangle. A better lamp with plugs would clear the clutter.

I almost gave a good review, but the shower tiles were cracked and the towel rack rusted. So charming! Given the abysmal conditions, I fully expected a complimentary upgrade, but alas, the staff seemed too busy. The entire experience was particularly underwhelming, especially with the filthy carpet and broken bed. Not what I anticipated at all.

Breaking it down, plain and simple
This place offers a convenient location and a surprisingly comfortable bed, perfect for a solo traveler. The friendly staff adds to the charm, though amenities like the pool could be better. Still, at this price, it meets expectations if you prioritize value and cleanliness.

great food but needs cleaning attention
The pool area looked inviting, even though I didn't take a dip. Dining options nearby were fantastic, especially enjoying homemade Belgian waffles for breakfast! Close proximity to Presque Isle State Park allowed for some beautiful morning walks, enhancing my stay.
The room cleanliness left much to be desired.
